I NOSTRI DIPARTIMENTI

At AWARD 2011, BBDO Guerrero / Proximity Philippines was also the highest ranked Asian agency. This year it has added Golds at AdStars, the Creative Guild of the Philippines (Kidlat) awards as well as Silvers and Bronzes at Cannes, Spikes, London International, Clio and AdFest, The agency is the country's leader in digital. This year it topped the local IMMAP awards for the fourth year running. And also got the country's first digital entries in D&AD, Cannes and One Show Interactive - as well as a finalist at the Webby's. Previous recognition includes Gold at Media Asia Digital Awards, the Echos.
It is also by far the country's leader in recognition for the effectiveness of its work. And this year was named 'Best in Creative' by the same organization.
David began his career in London with stints at Ogilvy, BMP and Ayer Barker before heading out to Hong Kong - where he helped relaunch theterritory's airline Cathay Pacific. Eventually he made it back to his ancestral home in Manila where in a three-year blitz he made Ogilvy one of the most awarded offices in its network - an achievement which led to the founding of his current agency.
In 2007 he was named as the first Cannes Jury President from South East Asia. David has also won the country's first Grand Prix (at London International), Golds at Cannes and Clio and Silvers, Bronzes and in-book work at One Show and D&AD. In 2011 he headed the Press and Poster jury at the Asia Pacific AdFest - the third time he has headed a jury at this festival.
